I am totally at a loss here, a snap of a garden from a balcony. Is there something intrinsic in the garden that makes it zen? Like, 'it's in a Zen monastery' or something like that?

@ cferoni : to me, it's not only the subject that could be "zen", but here, the sharpness and the lines of this garden and the building which could be interpreted. Of course, this is only my opinion ;-) Thanks for your comment

I agree, but reading the notes about the current theme:
"Zen photography tends to have a simple composition, sometimes abstract or macro in nature, and usually emphasizes emptiness or relationships between objects, often in a mood of contemplation or peacefulness. Create your best zen idea in image form" I still fail to see the relevance, this picture is quite busy and does not, to me of course, inspire contemplation or peacefulness. Again, just IMHO
