nice restriction of color/shade; i.e. high contrast, image mostly black, just a touch of white in the blossoms; if only there were many fewer branches--one would be ideal

the only thing I don't really like about this is that it's backlit - makes it rather a pattern than a compo for me...

Very stark contrast here. I like how the the white's bleed off into the white space of my browser page. Very well done.

This is very stark and bright that it makes me squint which doesn't really feel like zen to me.

Thanks to all. Actually, i wanted to render a graphical shot. I just left the withe on the tree's blossoms like an indication that this is a real photography. I admit it could be confusing but the idea of zen is often confusing :)
