I think if this were in the lower left corner, it would have much more impact for me. It's a lovely shot, and it has a lot of relevance, but the composition causes tension for me.

Was it deliberate having the candle at an angle off vertical? Apart from that (which creates a kind of tension I find), it is a nice shot, very relevant.

I'm feeling more relaxed just sitting here and enjoying this candle.

I think overall this is a strong photograph. Technically its all there. I think the candle isn't all that visually appealing, but you've executed the idea really well.

This just grabs my attention and makes me want to stare at it.
