When I think of zen it is often an image like this that pops up in my mind. The rock is well placed and the ripples create a soothing movement across the frame.

I love the texture of the rock and I like how the light highlights the pattern in the sand because it gives it a bit of an ethereal quality. However I feel that the composition is not quite zen enough, I would have probably cropped out the top and left of the rock, but that is just my preference.

I am looking at it more...and I keep wanting that rock to be top left.... my eye keeps wanting to move it there. but gave you high marks!!
