So very interesting! The color of the "water" is so curious. I like the images of the toy boats and the light reflection of them in the liquid. Tell us more.

This is the Colorado River inside of the Grand Canyon at river mile marker 187. The water is filled with red sediment, probably from recent flash flooding. These are private river runners, which usually do this trip during winter months. To complete the entire length of the canyon, it can take ten days, to a month. You can see that the boats are loaded pretty dense with gear. I'm standing 700 feet above the river when this image was taken.

panadero, the Colorado River was referred to as the "Red River" by the Spanish.
