Lovely colours. Optically the stone in the center seems off-center because of the break in the reeds but it is a lovely image none the less.

Great composition, and very appropriate for this subject. The oranges seem to have been artificially pumped up too much for my liking.

This is a nice peaceful scene. But I think the theme is asking for more than that. To me simplicity is a critical element of "zen" and there is so much detail in this image.

The composition is OK, but the perfectly cetered large rock, and thwo smaller rocks off to the left cause this not to balance. If the right hand side of the image were cropped off it would balance well. As is, is seems heavy on the left and this visual instability works against the idea of "zen".

In any case, you totally nailed the exposure and focus, and the image quality is really good.

Very nice feeling comes through.
