Great shot with great colors and a composition that I just love. All the tiny details are clear... Great job!

This is the first shot without a window...and I'm going to have to ask if the theme really means the shot should have both? I think it means that we should have both.
That said, this shot is very over-saturated, and so much more focus is on the that S hook, and the bricks; that it doesn't really say door, let alone Windows AND Doors.

CraigMartin said 694 days ago:

I feel that the brick is the more interesting subject in this shot...

Ana, I certainly hadn't interpreted the theme to mean you had to have both a door and a window in the shot! The description doesn't necessarily read that way...

pointnshoot said 694 days ago:

I interpreted the theme to have one or both.
I appreciate your comments.

Ana, I was wondering about the same and maybe we could ask for some further info: should there be both doors and wiondows in the pix, or one is enough?

CraigMartin said 694 days ago:

If you consider the context and phrasing of the suggestion of theme, it is clear that the author was responding to the suggested themes of "windows" and "doors", and suggested a theme featuring both (hence the initial comment "why not both?"). But that doesn't mean that each shot much include both, just that the theme feature both. Or so I interpret it.

Craig.... I get what you're saying now on that second comment you made... yeah. Hmm, going to be a tough theme for a lot of folks to rate, I think.

Personally this isn't so much about the door to me as it is about the clasp.
