The subject of this picture is so much about the child and not the door. That said, yes, it is the child in the environment WITHIN the picture thus the relevance bumps up. But I want to see more of the child's expression, which makes me want to crop a bit tighter making the door not so much a focus--I can tell it's a door by it being cracked open just behind him.

These are my thoughts as I observe this startling and revealing image.

Great colors. I wish there were a little more room around that window and below the boy.

this shot would have stood well without the boy. the details in the wood are wonderful.

Average ratings and no comment in protest. My image (#117) is the ONLY image in the WHOLE of this theme that has received no comments. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
