Interesting shot...and it's going over my head. Windows? Doors? I don't see either. I look forward to being educated...

P.S. what's that thing at the top right? It keeps pulling my eye over there.

Ok. I think I just figured it out. Mailboxes?

Pretty cool set of doors. I did a double-take when I saw this, because it is nearly identical to an image I made last year in April. You can see my version of this here:

Looks like these PO boxes were made by the same company, and might even be in the same location, so I am curious to see who's shot this is ;)

gorin-images said 562 days ago:

Nope, definitely not in the same location. I am sticking with my theory that these PO boxes were made by the same manufacturer as those in my image ;)

nice lighting and dof... nice take on the subject as well :)

That's an uncanny similarity Jarrett. I'm honored to have unintentionally copied one of your shots. I was actually trying to imitate the one Thelma did on #85 of this theme.

These P.O. Boxes are at the Myrtle Grove branch Post Office in Pensacola, Florida 32506.

@kadenjack

I am glad you said "unintentionally copied" above, because never for a second did I assume that you copied my shot.

One of the things I alsways enjoy is when I am able to go out and shoot with some other photographers, and we all end up capturing images of the same subject, but when I see everyone else's images, they are TOTALLY different then mine.

This situation is the exact opposite, where two different photographers, on two opposite sides of the continent, ended up photographing what is effectively the SAME subject, and their our images of that subject turned out nearly IDENTICAL.

The universe is a strange place at times.....I enjoy living in it. ;)

Thanks for the comments y'all. The ratings are awful though. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
