I am so confused about how this looks like it's on a sheet of paper. Is it projected onto the paper? However you did it, it's a cool effect.

I immediately thought storm... and then started wondering if it was a hurricane somewhere - the vignette works well in completing the mood of the image

Thanks everybody! This was shot with an Arrow-Diana clone. Believe it or not it was still as still can be and foggy as hell that day. The trees are right off the lake and my assumption is their shapes are influenced by the wind off the water.

Very much akin to those bonsai type trees that grow on the side of a mountain and become bent to a certain side by the elements. The shot is iinteresting as a thumb but comes to life when you actually view it larger. Interesting.
