Bearded dragons are cool! But my 8-year old has one as a pet, so to me they don't seem that "wild". Whether a pet or not though, the way you photographed this one makes it appear to be "in the wild" so this is definitely relevant.

Definitely not a pet, but an occasionaly visitor from the bushland at the back of my house. In fact, I had to lock my pets (dogs) inside while I ran out and fired off a few shots.

You must actually live in Australia! That makes this VERY cool IMHO. I know what you mean about locking up the dogs too. If this "wild" bearded dragon is anything like our pet one, it doesn't move too fast ;) In fact, ours doesn't really like to move at all. You can stick him on your shoulder and he just kind of hangs out. I really like these particular lizards. They have a quiet dignity about them.
