I think with this shot you either needed to try and include the ears and snout - or you got in closer to focus on his/her eyes, as its a bit distracting for me not having those in the frame :) Good effort!

Very good B&W, it gives it a Jack London timelessness. I wish the nose was entirely in the shot, it seems a little claustrophobic without it.

this is a nice shot the focus is good, but your let down is the crop...(missing ear and nose) and the harsh sunlight has has lost detail in the face :(
