Yep. Just a change of pace from all the breathtakingly beautiful panoramas on the home page (and elsewhere).

Pete Townshend, yeah. I thought this portrait reminded me of someone (other than myself).

I love wide angle portraits. This one is very nicely done, especially considering the impact category. The writing at the bottom is a nice touch too....very thoughtful.

I knew a few folks would have some appreciation for this strange and unflattering portrait.

@Dave_Mac...yes, my point, exactly.

Since I haven't owned or had available a true wide angle lens for many years, I'm a bit limited in what I can offer this time around.

I'll be seeing Vernon Trent in a few weeks. He'd better keep a tight grip on his camera bag.

I used this photo as part of a class assignment when Duane was teaching a graduate seminar at SMU. For those who don't know, Duane was known for the remarks he wrote on his photos.

Note the nice W.S. debate provoked by the "lines" of one of Duane's poems:
