This was taken through a store front window, very late at night, with a street light behind me. It's in a store called "Creative Pig Minds."

That yielded an immediate chuckle from me. The shadow and the wall directly behind "her" is a bit distracting (maybe with the yellow as the full backdrop would have been nice). But I do really like the mysterious elements here, the tack, the nose, the cracked face, the perfect lips. Very nice.

This strikes me as someone being both juvenile and too clever at the same time...but a perfect entry for the upcoming "Clever/Juvenile" theme. No, that's a mean thing to say. This is a flash-on-camera snapshop of someone's silly artwork, but it doesn't beg me to ask the question.

However, maybe I just don't get it.

Ana, I didn't assume that the *photographer* (obviously didn't know it was you) set up the photo. In fact, what I assumed is pretty much what you described: photographer's attention is captured by an incongruous absurdity.

I guess they couldn't afford a new mannequin. It just doesn't turn my giggle box over.
