That's funny Kadenajack. This is a Hindu festival called Holi- where garment dye is thrown in dry form and in wet form at you. Clothes are ruined. Skin is dyed fuschia for weeks. Normally it is reserved for the men but foreginers, especailly girls, are targeted as normally they are not touched by Indians- and Holi is a very tactile festival. Gangs of people will set up roadblocks and you have to bribe them with rupees to be aloud to pass. Nothing is sacred as buildings, the elderly and even cows have fuschia streaks of holi on them for weeks afterwards.
