I like the abstract idea of the weight of "votes" or a "public opininon". Whether the demonstrators did the backlighting of their signs or you did it's a very cool effect and is nicely caputred.

Thanks. This was taken at an AIDS gala in Toronto, Canada, and these people stood up to demonstrate when a politician was on stage. I had nothing to do with the source of lighting...just got lucky. ;)

I'm glad you "got it"...I have a feeling that others may think this is irrelevant.

...and to add after reading your comment....It's not that it's not relevant, it just has so many other strong emotions and facets, that 'weight' just doesn't over-power the power of the others.

Wow. Judging by the VERY poor relevance rating, I guess people just didn't get it. Shame. I wish people would be more open-minded with interpretting the topic.
