This is something I wouldn't have thought of before: The weight of the animals leaving their tracks. I really like the concept.
I personally enjoy photos that show a history... photos that show something beyond the instant that the shutter was open. I enjoy picking out the clues and thinking about all the things that took place to make them happen. It's kind of like archeology or detective work, in a way.
This photo probably doesn't have a lot of immediate "eye candy" impact, but it makes me sit and wonder about the little creatures that created those tracks... and that's something I enjoy.
