I see what you were going for, but I don't think it works perfectly. It would have been much more relevant if they were really hanging over the edge as a counter-weight to the wind. It would also have been nice to have no boats in the background.

Not sure howthis fits the theme? A little to tightly cropped for my taste.

Interesting image. I would liked to have seen the whole boat in the frame. I don't get how this relates to the theme. I think you did a good job of exposure on a tricky high contrast scene.
