Neat idea, with the suggestion of size generated through the photograph. A person has to do a double take before realizing something is not quite right!

You have an interesting halo around the ball and photograph. Not sure how you achieved this but I think it adds to the image.

Yeah, a bit of vignetting from the accessory lens I had attached (Nikon 4500). But you're right, I think it works to an advantage in this case.
