Funny, I just commented on this somewhere, but I am drawing a blank as to who this is. I remember liking this a lot. I also remember being somewhat bothered by the out of focus drops on the sides. I think it would be worth reshooting this on another rainy day (or setting up a sprinkler).

Still, the impact of water is clear. And I think the composition is very nice. I really like how you have used the background to stablize the composition, while the foreground just shows the flat pattern of the water drops.

I like the green tones behind this. I had thought about posting a window image, myself, because I like this look.

thanks for the comments everyone - i agree, not the most original of shots, but it was taken from inside a boat on a very rainy day, so seemed very relevant to me!! :)

For me, the bokeh makes this shot. It is almost a case where the in focus subject only exists to contrast the far more beautiful, blurred, colourful bokeh. Very nice.
