Gorgeous about sums it up. Did you actually take this under water, or was it in an aquarium?

This is an aquarium. One of my good friends has a pretty huge reef tank that they've been working on all year. I thought for sure I'd have problems with reflections from the glass, and I'm still not entirely sure how everything turned out as well as it did!

Although there is water, it is very difficult to see it (very clean tank!) and the subject of this photo really seems to be the fish. "water" isn't popping out to me here, but instead, the focus is really that clown fish. Great shot though!

A good shot, but I don't actually see the water except I know where fish live. Would have been nice with a bit more depth of field to see all the tentacles.

It's funny you should say that. The luxury of digital allowed me to take a number of very similar shots with varying depth of field settings. I actually didn't like the ones with the broader depth of field because it ruined the bokeh.
