I'm not sure if this screams water or pollution or society....

Aww, this is great. I like the reflected branches. Good color. The fish gives it a nice touch.

Wow... I just noticed the fish... nice touch. I'd have given this 6es if I'd seen that before.

I really love this shot. It takes a pretty shot of a pond and turns it on its head! Great concept.

love the morbid nature of this one

Interesting, but I'm not sure of the asthetic quality of this image...

I have to admit... I'm scratching my head on this one. To me it looks like a snapshot of a doll in some water. I'm not seeing anything really substantial here.

At first I thought it was a real person and that definitely piqued my interest... But after I looked at it for a second I was really disappointed to realize that it's a little plastic action figure. I guess that killed the mood for me.

Looks like other people really responded to it, though. So maybe there's something here that I'm missing?

Ophelia!

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I like the idea of turning things on their 'head'!
This is special because I got a new camera over the weekend and I chose the 'water' theme as my first 'photoblogging' project.
I started out attempting to make some pretty pictures on Hampstead Heath, but reality caught up with me and I ended up reflecting on 'pollution' and 'society'.

Stellar effort, surreal and thought-provoking!

Indeed... That's the first thing that I thought of. I think I was comparing this to Ophelia and it just wasn't quite as morbid. :)
