The overprocessed sky spoils this image for me

I see the decay in the buildings, but the image just doesn't say it. What the image does say to me is a exotic location that I would love to visit and shoot. Yes it is a personnal feeling.

I find the sky here quite distracting and the saturation a bit too much - but I like the take on urban decay in Venice ...

I never would have thought of the waterway as being "urban", but in your image, the impact of all the buildings does give it that urban edge. Very nice.

this says "romance and charm" to me, more than decay, but only because I don't live in such a place. I imagine if this is where you live, this does look decayed. The colours take away from the decay, also. They're so bright and vibrant!

I see the decay in this urban area, but it's almost too pretty for me. I suppose that's my interpretation of the theme though, and this image certainly fits the literal meaning of urban decay. Ironically I like this picture better than most of what I've rated so far because of it's attractiveness. The pictures of blight were kind of bringing me down, but this one injected a little sunshine into the theme for me. Well done.

This speaks old world charm to me more than urban decay, though there are signs of decay present. Love the colors, lighting, crispness and quality of the image.
