Thanks groen. I wanted to add that this represents an "early" stage of decay. The city was until maybe the 50's a vibrant industrial location and the downtown reflects its past glory. But now, what were once highly detailed architectural wonders have begun the long, slow process of degeneration. Still occupied, but clearly the signs of decay are there... details allowed to fall apart, replacement of historic windows with non-compatible aluminum frames, and clear poor drainage eating at the masonry.
