It seems as thought the photographer is intentionally creating tension in this photo. Whatever the motivation, I find this composition to be displeasing and, perhaps because of that, uninteresting. What are you getting at here? The technical aspects are okay, if one doesn't mind having well over a third of the image out of focus. What do you see here that I don't?

I must admmit that this one was made for a different project, but I thought it would work here also - maybe even more - because I remember having the definite intention to find a perspective that I would never opt for spontaneously - in that sense I meant to put some tension in it, you're right.

Having the front subject out of focus and the background in focus was, of course intentional - that was another attempt to create that tension.

The photo itself should be about The Woman - and I'm sad my intentions aren't coming through for you - and possibly others as well... but shit happens.

I gave this high marks for an unusual perspective. After reading your response to what King said and knowing what your intentions were in shooting, I must humbly disagree with King and say that your intentions came through, at least to me.

@Hummingbird...don't be so humble. Please tell me what you are disagreeing with as I don't see any disgreement. Do you mean simply that while I couldn't identify bioLarzen's intentions, that you could? That's not disagreement, that's superior perception on your part.
