I am very curious to know at what I look !

This is beautiful! But it is also maddeningly difficult to figure out. The first thing that captures my eye is the metallic sphere... it looks initially like a pin ball game.... but then I notice the hexagonal structures that look like hex head bolts. I have absolutely no idea what I am looking at, but at the same time the colors and the textures are very captivating. Please tell us what this is.

Fascinating. You must tell us what and where this is. I like the way you cropped this.

This is a low angle shot of the sea wall at Blackpool's south promenade and the silver ball is a huge mirrored glitter ball one of the public sculptures in this part of the town. By getting the angle right you can balance the ball on the wall! See link.

I'm happy and sad at the same time. This is my usual blend of moods when I see a photo that I know I'll never ever be able to measure up with, no matter what...
Breathtaking. 25 points and every morsel of each one very well deserved.
Congrats and thanx for sharing this one with us.

Seems from the comments that it would fit my theme suggestion "WTF" just perfectly :)))

Thanks to everyone for their comments particularly bioLarzen for your kind words. It is an interesting theme.

That ball makes all the difference in the world here. The weathered green (mold?)always has a melancholy feel to it.
I've never seen a Pin-Ball machine from this angle. That shiny out of place, ball from space.

I wonder why you did crop it this way - but this is your choice and I think you have a good reason to..- why not anyway !
High rating !
sbuzz said 587 days ago:
nice one sir...
digiphotology said 587 days ago:
JIMJIM why do you think I cropped it like I did! Because it would have been a different picture if I had Drrrrrrrr.........
JIMJIM said 587 days ago:
Well, I was only wondering if it was a good choice to include (or not) the hole in the foreground (on my 14" screen..) - and the good news is I think it was !!
digiphotology said 587 days ago:
JIMJIM I have versions with and without, stronger with. So relieved you like it. Do you use F11 to get rid of your tool bars?
JIMJIM said 587 days ago:
Thank you digiphotology !! No, I don't use F11, is this on a PC because on my *little* Mac this just puts the window out (squizzz..)
digiphotology said 587 days ago:
JIMJIM I was going to add the Mac qualification about F11 but I thought, no he will be a PC guy, how wrong. Thats why I don't back horses.
JIMJIM said 587 days ago:
a PC guy - no way !!!

Reminds me of a Zelda level or something.
Excellent unusual perspective!

Excellent. I like this. I like the grubby stones, their color and their texture; and obviously I like the perspective. High marks.
