I was sure some comments would recommend some liquid in the bottle.

Well, the first variations of this of course included liquid - various kinds of it, in fact. Sadly, all of them looked just like I was puking into the bottle - frankly. Belive me, this was the only non-disgusting solution I could come up with. I was stupid enough to throw out the other variants, you could see for yourself - but belive me you are lucky not to :DDD

I guess I wasn't clear enough: I WAS drinking here - the shot catches the moment when the liquid (coke) disappears from the bottle.

Very nice! I presume you cut the bottle to get the camera to be able to take a shot of that clarity. Very, very good!

Fuzzball, Lange was right: I cut a 2 liter Coke bottle in half, held the bottle with one hand and the cam with the other. I had to take a lot of shots (some 30...) because I couldn't see what was in the frame, of colurse - and, miraculously, the very first shot proved to be the best...
