That's my 3.5 year old Tristan, just before he turned three.

I do not photograph him enough. My mom said "I am lucky that interesting shadow was there, or I wouldn't have gotten this picture of my grandson". That shadow is why I didn't crop it in from the left, although I think the way you are suggesting it would be an equally good, or better composition. And it WOULD focus in on his face more, and that is really the best thing in this photo, in my totally biased opinion ;)

The secondary connection thing is a joke. Just me sarcastically responding to an unrelated comment having to do with relevance.

Little Tristan sure does seem to have whatever it takes to pick up women however ;) Not just one's his own age either.....I have met plenty of 23 to 32 year old women thanks to hanging out with Tristan on Sundays when my wife is at work.
