I like the tone and coloring. The green works really well with the red of the spider.

The white halo around the spider works well to draw attention to it, but overall I find this image uninteresting, and not particularly relevant.

This take on the theme has been done to death.

They are definately ugly things in my opinon, and in this you have certainly created a fragile and delicate air around him. I still don't find him beautiful, but he's certainly more appealing :)

although i am tired of seeing insect photos this is really well captured-love the colours of the spider against the blur of the background. well done.
