Very nice duotone conversion, though perhaps it could use a touch more contrast. This fits the theme perfectly. This flower looks to be past its prime.

I was wondering when the melted flower look would show up. I like this but find the image quality suffers a bit, perhaps from overexposure, and the central bit poking up for some reason looks out of focus even though the petals surrounding it don't! The crumpled look of the petals comes across very well as ugly.

I really can't see anything ugly about this. Sure, it's a little wilted, but ugly?
