The background detracts a lot from this image. My eye keeps on focusing on the grout line instead of the spider.

I assume this is a spider on some glass so you've photographed it's tummy?

I like the depth of field, but it doesn't seem particularly sharp. Very neat markings on this spider make it an interesting image though.

Perhaps there's just been too many insect shots already, but I just find this a photo of an ugly spider. The beauty aspect is missing for me. Technique and quality are good though.
