To me this would have been even more compelling if the insect was better lit and there wasn't the dark vertical band in the background. Also, the wings being cropped out detract from the image, for me. But I love the detail on the legs, as well as the reflection of the bug. And the fact that it's body is kind of hanging down is creepy, as if it's rising out of some pit of insects.
