Sorry, it is just a major pet peeve of mine when people simply photograph someone else's artwork to "create" their own "artwork".

Also, doesn;t seem ugly or beautiful...or photographed in a "beautiful way" like the theme asks for. It's a nice snapshot of a sculpture on public display that documents the fact that the sculpture was there.

I completely agree with you. I pulled this out of my archives because I thought it was such a fascinating statue; it was actually taken in 2004 with a point and shoot digital camera--so no incredible photography here. I simply put this here because I thought the statue was ugly yet beautiful and wanted to share it with others. In any case, everything you said is still true, although I never attempted to pass this as my artwork.

This seems more like a quick/documentary shot than something you put much time/thought/emotion into. I can see many smaller detail compositions within the sculpture (with and without its reflection) that I would find more evocative. But I'm sure many will not agree with me--often such images get "I wish I could see more of this" comments.
