Funny how this assignment shows how much beauty there is in the world... not a whole lot of ugly. Great shot.

Very interesting flower with great potential for detail compositions exploring its various structres. I like the off-center composition here. But with all that room, why crop a bit of one petal? Less depth of field would also help--the leaves are too sharp.
