Your kidding, right? The moon is anything but ugly. And a big ol' moon like that with all the details is downright beautiful.

I used the moon as a object for a ugly beautiful cause the moon so beautiful if it look far from here .. but actually the moon looks ugly (land)
@kpaul: I am using Nikon D50+Tamron 70-300 LD(1/200,f5.6,ISO:200) and have a cropped on it, many thank's for all your comments.

Not once have I considered the moon to be ugly. It is like a sentinel in the sky, looking down upon us.

Sorry. I have never run into anyone that considers the moon to be an "undeniably ugly" subject, or even slightly ugly for that matter. To the contrary most people consider the moon to be a beautiful object.

I like your way-off-to-the-side composition and all the black space, and although totally unattural, this would be graphically very string if you had rotated the camera and/or the cropping frame to make the flat side of the crescent moon approximatley parallel to the short edge of the frame...and centered it top to bottom, but left it way over on the side.

I also see a LOT of pixellation along the semi-circle side of the moon.

Theme wise, it's waay off. And the pixelation on the edges of the moon take away from what would otherwise be a decent shoot of it.
