Is it Christmas already? Very colorful, lacey and delicate. I like the composition, too. High marks.

<SOAPBOX> I'm just sounding off here, but shooting wide open to create a very shallow depth of field is just a gimmick unless it's done for a good reason. F11 is a good f-stop. So is f16. Put you camera on a tripod and use a remote release if you are worried about camera shake.

Shallow depth of field is an effect to use when appropriate, not as a thing in and for itself. </SOAPBOX>

King, I understand your nice way of saying this doesn't need the shallow dof. Thanks. It was a windy day, I was in the middle of a median with lots of cars going by and feeling a little idiodic with my head stuck in a bush and bees flying all around my head. Not the best technically. :o)

Well, that's different, then, and this image falls under the category of "Shutter speed required to minimize subject movement resulted in shallow depth of field."

As I hope I made clear, my <SOAPBOX> comment was an aside prompted by the shallow depth of field in this photo, and I didn't know if it was necessary or not. I have the photo high marks. Hope it gets featured!

Very colourful and wild. Reminds me of fireworks.
