Thanks folks. It was actually shot in a hay field this past winter after a snow and sub-zero temps. It was -17 degrees when I shot this.

Sorry, I really don't get the connection to the theme. Also, not an outstanding shot technically, underexposed. The subject doesn't look that interesting.

Well, it's scruffy, but not really twisted. It's just a little too busy, though I see what you were going for compositionally.

Unfortunately this doesn't work for me. I think it lacks contrast, the composition could have given more focus to a clear subject and I can see what you mean by twisted, but it might have been more effective if you were a little closer in on the grass stuff.
