A fun image with great colors and detail. The water in the background is wonderful...and that one eye poking out from feathers is terrific. It doesn't say "twisted" to me at all, even though obviously the duck is twisting it's head around. Maybe that's because there's nothing *visibly* twisted. Generally high marks.

Man, what is it with ducks this theme...

This is not *that* twisted, though I can see the duck turning its head. Beautiful colors, but not highy relevant.

the background looks strange, but cool. I wish it weren't so close in colour to the bird.

This is a really interesting shot, but just not too relevant IMHO. The duck looks "huddled" up but not really "twisted" in any way.

Regardless, it is really well executed so I gave high marks for categories related to technique etc.

Pretty nifty, I'd say. I like the look of the water. High marks.
