very very twisted. this would be a great tree to revisit and try and get a better light with it.

Relevant, for sure, but the lighting's just a little too harsh on those background trees.

Wow, quite nice. Very interesting coloration choice, I think it works well.

Not sure if this would work positively, but play around by dodging out the background even further, and leaving a strong emphasis on the subject in the foreground - isolate it even further. Then burn the subject a little, esp. that harsh highlight at the top.

High marks though!
