Even though there have been many of these natural twisted images this one is quite remarkable to me because of the ice formations.

Looks like a twisty kind of alien life form. I find the green marrow to be interesting. The shot doesn't wow me, but it is well done, so high marks, in general.

I've been looking at this trying to work out what it is. Is it metal? Is it a plant? Whatever it is I like it very much. I like the grain in the green background and the kind of over-sharp effect of some areas of the object: together they make it look like an oil painting.

It's a part of a plant, surrounded with ice.
It was originally posted with a tighter crop at my photoblog but I prefer this version.
