While the overall scene is spectacular, I find the tree trunk to be rather intrusive, rather than contributary to the composition. Perhapos of it had been used as a framing element rather than as a central feature that bisects the image it would be a stronger image in terms f imapct and composition. I like the misty sky over the background ridge.

not sure about this - i do love the detail in the foreground and the dreamy background though.
