Interesting shot. Big points for originiality, but personally it makes me kind of dizzy and thats a negative point for someone like me, who really like s to explore images and look at them for a long time....

I find this image and the concept really engaging. But I find it hard to look at it due to the distortion.

...perhaps a tripod would have been in order for this shot, as I assume the distortion we are seeing is from camera shake.

High marks on relevance and composition. I'd like to withhold from Technique and Image Quality until I understand how this image was made.

Interesting double image (camera shake?) I think it works for this and the silhouette emphasizes the branchiness of the tree.

I'd like to see this bigger, I bet there's a lot of fine detail that gets lost with the 750 pixel size limit.

I like dizzy! I think maybe part of the problem with the distortion is the jpeg compression having trouble with the fine lines close together at this size (that's why I'd like to see it big).

Thank you for all your comments. I have tried to make an image which caught, yes even, irritated the eye. Through pp I discovered a version that was almost dizzying in its apparent lack of focus. I am glad to have created an image which you who have chosen to comment have reacted to. That is a big complement!

You nailed the relevance, but I find with it being so out of focus (intentional?) it's difficult to look at it for more than a few seconds.
