Cool! They somehow seem unreal. How did you do that?

Budgie said 566 days ago:

Not sure if the topside blurring is intentional or not but I find it distracting

jan said 566 days ago:

such a nice shot, why the awful blur in the top half?? really distracts

ballpeen said 566 days ago:

Used a Hartblei Super-Rotator T/S lens.

ArneG said 565 days ago:

The choice of blurr here is interesting - it certainly draws your eye to the trunks.

rocksunderwater said 565 days ago:

I did the selective focus, is that a tilt shift?

Montage said 565 days ago:

I don't quite get the point of blurring out the tops of the trees.

How do you do that? Excelent effect!

I'd really like to like this one more, but I think the blur is a bit too distracting.

kiwi said 565 days ago:

too much blur.

Ana said 565 days ago:

mixed feelings about this photograph. I love the composition, and it is very relevant...I'm not a big fan of the blurring. Makes me focus on the WHITEness of the snow, instead of the whole photograph.

uncommondepth said 565 days ago:

Ha! These look like miniature trees. Was this done with a Lensbaby, or something else?

uncommondepth said 565 days ago:

Found the answer. I'm disappointed there are not more people who can apprecaite the creative use of blur.

Thank you, thank you very much...

Big fan of it myself.
