I really like this. It certainly sparks some sort of mysterious tale in my imagination. I also like the brown of the scar in contrast with the blue bark.

This is beautiful and somehow spooky (the lines) at the same time. The patterns of light and the softness of the greens and blues to the left contrast well with the abrupt starkness of the blue-grey bark with its red-orange lines along the right-hand side of the photograph.

Ouch. Who would hurt the tree?!
