It's a fun idea. As an aside, the snow is totally blown out, and the trees are almost black. The metering on this did not go that well, it seems.

It's a shame that flipping the symetry here really stands out by not being able to eliminate the church on one side (I'd eliminate the right one personally). If the technique didn't jump right out in a viewers face this would really have a wonderful fun quality to it. Still I think it has above average impact and is a good image. Even as just a half an image this is a really awesome scene to begin with!
