This looks like it would be gorgeous in color!

While I think the black and white is a good idea to try, I am not sure it does this scene justice. Somehow it looks as though you may have lost some contrast.

Also, this is something I'm trying to work out myself - how to get the whole scene really sharp! I have a very similar picture to this in which I focused on the foreground tree, but unfortunately it makes the background a bit blurry. Maybe it's not all that noticeable though except to me because this is something I've been thinking about.

The composition, by the way, is very nice. I like where you've placed that one lone tree.

@Luminouslens, you're right thats a strange thing but when you use a apperture of 5.6 or more it would be all sharp I think..
