Is this Africa? The savanna? I think it is an optical illusion, the the black of the trees seems to be bleeding into the gloomy clouds in the background. It's an interesting effect, but I think, on the whole, the image is a bit dark, and maybe that's all there is too it. Dramatic silhouettes, for sure. There's probably a leopard in one of those trees.
