This is another of those photos that I probably wouldn't take myself, but for which I have an appreciation once I see a print or slide. The shapes and composition hold the interest, while the b/w tones, contrast and texture and pleasing no matter where the eye wanders. Good work.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind comments. Luminouslens, I don't remember precisely the processing steps because this was shot two summers ago, but generally when I convert to black and white I use both a gradient map layer and a channel mixer layer, combining the most appealing parts of both layers. Also, perhaps a bit of Gaussian blur was added to soften a bit.
