This has many tree qualities (being a tree and all), but is not the type of photograph that I would take myself, or that appeals to me in general. I know, however, that this type of subject and image appeals to some other people. For me, it lacks a center of attention and a graceful flow to the composition.
But it's a strong image, with good contrast and a sense of size, relative to the viewer.
