Is this the Seine? I wish I were in Paris right now!

I like this very much. The young female tree is washing its hair in the river. The composition is excellent, given where I think the photographer is standing and leaning over the same wall we see on the right.

Why are you offering this in color as opposed to b/w? Just curious.

This tree looks like it's bending over to get a drink. Cool and unique, which is starting to get rare in this theme.

This is one sad tree - could this be Paris? Great atmosphere and effective lighting behind the tree, too.

Ana said 544 days ago:

awesome, and even though I wish I could see the top of the tree, I still love this.

Yes, it is the Seine.

And yes, I have a problem with the height of trees, apparently I do not manage to photograph them :))

@ king: I know now who killed the cat in the canal :)
... I did not find it really more interesting in b&w.

Thank you, for your comments.

@jfka...I don't understand the reference, "I know now who killed the cat in the canal." Is it a figure of speech in French that you translated into English?

jfka said 543 days ago:

OUPSS !!!

aren't you used to saying : curiosity killed the cat ?
but, perhaps it was a movie tittle ?

I was talking of my first participation to the subject "the end".
